Friends of the Parks – Neighborhood Park Restoration Day

Friends of the Parks coordinates volunteer restoration events in Chicago Park District parks across the city. Park restoration days involve cleaning up litter, planting native species in naturalized areas, and improving habitat quality in neighborhood parks. Sessions run Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon. A great way to improve your local park, meet neighbors, and get some fresh air and light physical activity.
