Metro Parks Green Tacoma Day – Dickman Mill Park

Green Tacoma Day is a citywide volunteer event that brings hundreds of Tacomans together to restore parks and natural areas across the city. At Dickman Mill Park, volunteers remove invasive Himalayan blackberry from wetland edges and replant with native shrubs. This is a great way to get a solid outdoor workout while making a visible difference in one of Tacoma's waterfront parks.
